Cool temperatures and steady rain did not halt the auction of about 70 cars seized by local police departments during drug arrests, as several dozen people braved the elements Saturday to place their bids. Each of the 70 cars, all lined up outside the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, was seized by one of 17 police departments as part of a drug investigation or arrest.
