Firefighters knocked down a two-alarm fire on Pinewood Avenue Friday night, resulting in the home being uninhabitable for the night. Deputy Fire Chief Tom Ferraro said it appears the fire was caused by space heaters on the second floor of 44 Pinewood Ave. A mattress was on fire on the second floor.
